About the university

The attractive University Quarter sits in the heart of Portsmouth. Since 1992 the university has grown rapidly, and in the last ten years it has spent £100 million on improving facilities, which include new halls of residence, sports facilities, the Students’ Union and many new teaching buildings. In 2009 the Dennis Sciama Building opened to house the internationally recognised Institute of Cosmology and Gravitation, and in September 2010 the new £9 million Dental Academy opened as a result of an innovative partnership between the University of Portsmouth and King’s College London.

At ICP you will find all the support you need as an international student to be successful in your degree studies, while benefitting from small class sizes and additional teaching sessions with highly qualified teachers.
